Common Core Teaching Excellence Award

The Common Core Teaching Excellence Award (“Teaching Award”) recognizes the dedication and contributions of instructors who play a pivotal role in the success of the Common Core Program. Supported by their Schools and Departments, these teachers create and teach a robust array of common core courses that significantly enrich students’ educational experiences.

This Teaching Award celebrates the transformative impact that instructors have in enabling students to acquire essential competencies through diverse disciplines, supporting their personal and professional aspirations. By honoring outstanding instructors who have made substantial contributions to the design and/or teaching of exemplary common core courses, we aim to promote the value of these courses throughout the University community and inspire others to strive for excellence in teaching.
